Deadline to Register to Vote October 5th.

 

For vote-by-mail ballot requests,

State law requires that the ballots be sent to voters who already have requests on file your ballot should be mailed during September 24 and October 1.  Vote-by-mail ballots maybe mailed through the USPS or returned (and delivered) at a secure drop boxes at the Supervisor of Elections’ main and branch offices and early voting sites.

Early Vote

By law, early voting must be held at least for 8 days. (The mandatory early voting period)  Each county’s Supervisor of Elections may offer more days of early voting from one or more of the following days:  October 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 and November 1

Voters who want to vote early should present the following at the early voting site:

• a valid photo identification; and

• a signature identification.

Voters can vote at any early voting site within the county when the site is open.

September 24 the first ballots will be mailed out to the people who registered to Vote By Mail.

October 19 start of Early Voting.  Last day to Early Vote is Nov 1.  The hours are 7am to 7pm.

IMPORTANT: You are encouraged to bring your ballot to an Early Voting site ballot box beginning October 19.

General Election:    November-03.  On Election Day mail in ballots can ONLY be delivered to the Broward Supervisor of Elections offices in downtown Ft Lauderdale or in Lauderhill in person.  (You cannot bring them to your polling locations on Election Day only). You can vote at your polling places in person on Nov 3 but you cannot give them your mail in ballot.  Family or friend can deliver the ballot to the Supervisor of Election.
